Agape Healing was founded in 2013 by Dr. Benchuan Gong, a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist based in Chicago. We take a holistic approach to treating patients, incorporating Eastern and Western practices and philosophical wisdom, promoting wellness of mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Benchuan Gong is the founder of Agape Acupuncture Agape Herbs LLC and is a practicing acupuncturist and Herbalist with over 40 years of experience. Dr. Gong received his medical degree from the prestigious Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing. He received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (M.S.O.M) from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. Dr. Gong received his Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary and Master of Business Administration from North Park University at Chicago. He is trained in both oriental and western medicine. Throughout the years, he has developed a great passion and gained much experience caring for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients for over forty years. Through out this time, he has had experience healing people through medical treatment, education, preaching, pastoring and researching.

宫本川医师（Dr. Benchuan Gong）是 Agape Acupuncture & Agape Herbs LLC 的创始人，同时也是一位拥有逾四十年医学和健康经验的执业针灸师及中药专家。宫医师毕业于北京大学医学部，并获得了医学学位。此外，他还从美国中西部东方医学学院（Midwest College of Oriental Medicine）获得了营养学理学学士学位以及东方医学理学硕士学位（M.S.O.M）。宫医师又在北园神学院（North Park Theological Seminary）获得了道学硕士学位，同时在北园大学（North Park University）获得了工商管理硕士学位。他兼修东方医学与西方医学，具备深厚的跨学科专业背景。四十多年来，他始终怀着极大的热情，致力于照料患者在身体、情感及心灵层面的需求，并积累了丰富的临床经验。在此期间，他通过医疗诊治、健康教育、布道宣讲、牧灵关怀以及学术研究等多种途径，致力于帮助人们恢复健康与安宁。

Outside of his practice, Dr. Gong has lectured about Chinese medicine at the Xilin Chicago NorthSide Chinese School, Chicago Oriental Medical School, and Florida Oriental Medical School. He instructs Qigong and Taijiquan at Christ Church Presbyterian Chicago.
